My work is done by listening to the tissue, communicating through the nerves, and following up through the muscles. You can expect movement, flexibility, elasticity, and a rundown of my findings post-session.
My Mantra: Listen and observe, revive and restore, preserve and sustain.
I am a vaccinated healer!
Aloha! My name is Faryn and I am an LMT, born and raised in Honolulu, Hawai'i. I became interested in bodywork at 20 years old, when a surfing incident nearly dislocated my left shoulder at impact (yowch!). Upon graduating from Heisei Int'l Institute of Massage in 2010, I trained in Lomi Lomi, Acupressure, Shiatsu and CranioSacral Therapy. I would travel to Japan to teach Lomi Lomi, and study Myofascial Release techniques in Seattle. From 2011, I would work in Spas, Gyms, and Resorts. I was even fortunate enough to open my very own studio space in 2013.
In 2015, I moved my practice to Los Angeles and worked alongside Chiropractors, Physical Therapists, and Acupuncturists. This helped to add a therapeutic element to my practice. I am proud and honored to practice multiple styles/cultures of massage. Through tens of thousands of clients, I have realized that the body is malleable; it is flexible, curable, and our most valuable tool. It is our most promised vehicle and the instrument of this very lifetime. So why not take good care of it?
My Social Impact:
When we have done enough damage, we need to begin fixing. In the world, in our bodies.
Acupressure, Lomi Lomi & Deep Tissue all rolled into one style. Pressure is varied depending on your level of tolerance.
For bodies in need of muscle elasticity, fascia release and maximum movement. For upcoming/post sports events. Can be done over loose clothing if preferred.
For bodies past the 2nd trimester. Side lying, propped with pillows and bolsters. Focus on relieving pains heightened by pregnancy in low back, neck, shoulders, and legs.
For bodies able to take minimal pressure. Sensitive skin, injuries, and overused muscles will benefit from Swedish modalities, light pressure and Acupressure points.
