Please share your “why” for why you decided to pursue your healing practice.
Having served in the U.S. Navy as a Registered Dietitian, I quickly noticed how multifaceted health truly is. With a prominent focus on physical fitness and performance, the military often neglects to acknowledge how this single pillar of wellness is shaped by the 7 other pillars (emotional, spiritual, intellectual, social, financial, environmental, and occupational). This prompted me to separate from the military after 5 years of service in order to pursue my master's degree in Integrative Health and to come back on the civilian sector to care for the military, and myself, on a much larger scale. Through the incorporation of guided imagery, meditation, breathwork, and other holistic modalities into client sessions, I aim to provide whole-person health care by addressing the pillars of wellness that shape our day to day lives.
Please list what conditions or symptoms (mental, physical, emotional, or spiritual) your modality specifically works with and how it can be a healing guide to others.
I specialize in a variety of chronic and acute medical conditions (mental, emotional, physical), behavior change strategies, and the mind-body connection. Offering a holistic wellness approach, we are able to work together in order to restore health, promote resilience, and prevent disease.
